Welcome to Petra!
These are our terms of use, and you will also find our privacy policy here. It is important that you read through this carefully before using the Service, as it describes not only your rights but also your obligations as a user.
Terms
These terms of use, including the privacy policy ("Terms"), are prepared by Petras Verden AS, organisation number 932 036 304 ("Petra" or "we/us/our"). The Terms apply to you, whether you are a private individual or a legal entity, who has registered as a user in the Petra app.
Service and Payment
The Service
"The Service" refers to Petra's digital learning platform, which includes all functionality, interfaces, and content that Petra makes available from time to time. Petra reserves the right to freely change and update the Service at any time.
If Petra does not notify you of a change at least one month in advance, and the change significantly worsens your use of the Service, you have the right to terminate the agreement and request a refund of the subscription fee for the remaining period.
Use of the Service
To use certain parts of the Service, it is necessary to have a device that supports iOS 13.0, iPadOS 13.0, or newer, or Android 10.0 or newer.
Trial Subscription
From time to time, we may offer trial versions of the Service. When the trial subscription expires, the paid subscription will start automatically. If you do not wish to be charged, you must cancel the subscription through the App Store or Google Play.
Licence and Your Rights
Intellectual Property Rights
The Service and all intellectual property rights related to it belong to Petra and/or Petra's licensors. All rights not expressly granted to the customer under the agreement are reserved by Petra. You are not entitled to analyse, modify, copy, distribute, sell, or otherwise dispose of the Service without Petra's prior written consent.
Licence
Petra hereby grants you a non-exclusive licence to use the Service during the agreement period, in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you create in the Service. By entering into this agreement, you grant Petra a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use this content for the development and marketing of the Service.
Agreement Period, Termination and Suspension
Agreement Period and Termination
This agreement applies until terminated by either you or Petra. Both parties have the right to terminate at any time. To terminate, cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play. The agreement ends when the next payment would have been due.
Termination Due to Breach
Petra has the right to terminate this agreement with immediate effect if you materially breach the agreement.
Temporary Suspension
Petra may temporarily restrict or suspend access to the Service, for example in connection with maintenance or if there is reasonable suspicion of misuse.
No Refunds
If the agreement is terminated, Petra will not refund any amounts already paid, except as set out in the Service and Payment section.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw within 14 days of starting the subscription. To exercise this right, use the withdrawal form provided by the App Store or Google Play.
Assignment
Without Petra's consent, you do not have the right to assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
Use and Responsibility
You must not use the Service in violation of the agreement or applicable laws and regulations.
Customer Support
Petra offers customer support by email and strives to respond within 48 hours. Contact: contact@petrasverden.app. Subscriptions must be cancelled through the App Store or Google Play.
Liability and Limitation of Liability
Petra guarantees that it has the right to license the Service under these terms. However, Petra disclaims all liability for errors or defects in the Service's content or availability. Petra is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Service.
Changes to the Terms
Petra reserves the right to amend the terms from time to time. Notice of changes will be provided at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved by Norwegian courts in accordance with Norwegian law. If you are a consumer, you can contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority at www.forbrukertilsynet.no.
