Petra is made for children between 2 and 6 years old, with content adapted to different stages of early childhood. The app also works well for slightly older children looking for calm and engaging experiences.
The content in Petra is developed in collaboration with kindergarten teachers and linked to key areas of early childhood learning. It includes topics such as colours, language, maths, creativity, emotions and logic.
The content in Petra is currently available in Norwegian, Swedish and Danish. We use real voice actors for each language to ensure correct pronunciation and natural speech. We are working on making the content available in English as well, and hope to have it ready soon.
Yes, Petra is designed so that children can explore and play on their own. Many games automatically adjust the difficulty level, so the child is challenged at their own level. At the same time, you can also play together, which makes for a great shared experience.
Yes, the Norwegian Directorate of Health distinguishes between different types of screen use and recommends age-appropriate, educational content without ads. Learning apps and interactive experiences where children are actively involved can stimulate learning and development. Petra is built on exactly this, with content where children explore, solve tasks and build confidence at their own pace.

No minimum commitment. No ads. Just age-appropriate play and learning.
